I think for people, a nicely designed ad, integrated and non-instrusive could lead some people to really interact with the organisation's media. Even if that figure is 1% of viewers on the nytimes.com thats probably thousands of people so not to be sneezed at!
Nice interactivity! I wonder how many people would go to that much trouble to engage with an ad, though?
